Thirty-six percent of people in the least productive cities blamed their burnout on the social whirl of personal commitments while 31% pointed to an increased amount of work at the end of the year. Only 17% said the culprit was cold and flu season. St. Louis Des Moines Boston The bottom cities are part of a national trend. A new survey  of 2,000 Americans by Slumber Cloud  showed that 35% of Americans have holiday burnout before Christmas, and that 68% find the holidays stressful.
